I Organisation Information
Benefits of proposed project
Basic Education Children will be sent to school for their basic education, which will help them to have good career. The children in the orphanage mostly will be from backward classes and dalits, therefore it will help them to eliminate the inferiority from their hearts.
Basic Needs In the orphanage the children will have the benefit of all basic necessities. Children will be supported physically, spiritually and mentally. They will have good food thrice in a day, in case of physical weakness the child will be given medical care, the children will have clean drinking water, clothing and the daily needs such as soaps, pens, pencils, books, etc.
How will the organisation implement the project?
Modus Operandi The Board of Governors of Great Commission Ministries meets once in a year and plans for financial year goals and budget and appoints a Charted Accountant registered with the Union Government of India. Charted Accountant will audit the project every year and gives its report to the board. The annual audit report is transparent and is open to all open requests.
The board will keep available this evaluation report and annual report to the entire general body members at the time of annual general body meeting for the open and transparency of the organisation.
Internal Audit Accounts Manager, Treasurer, President and experienced person from outside, nominated by the board will add the internal audit committee, which meets every quarter and audit all the account.
How will be the local people and local community will be involved in the project?
There are no local people involved in the project in helping us to help the orphans. The support of grains comes from one particular family once in every four months for the children in the orphanage. There may be support in the future from the local people but not to the extent of fulfilling the project. There are some voluntary organisations that can help us in giving clothes and basic necessities to the children.
How will the project become self-sufficient?
There is a piece of land owned by the Great Commission Ministries where we are planning to have the orphanage. The Ministries is planning to establish an educational school in the premises. This school will help us to have free education to the orphan children and also to the poor and we can have some fees and donations collected from other children. The area where the land is located has no good educational school. We plan to have this school for the self-support of the project. We are not going to charge the other children with big amount but to the extent that they can bear their children and get educated in a good Christian School. All the profit incurred from this self sufficient project will be used for the orphanage and the other aims of the organisation.
What problems might happen during the project?
The project of the orphanage is Christian in nature therefore there may be some problem with the anti Christian groups. This may lead to the misunderstanding of the people in the region. But we hope on the Lord that there might not be any danger in the project.
Is the project religious in nature?
Yes the project is religious in nature. This project is maintained by a Christian organisation and therefore it is Christian by nature.

What are some of the current projects of the organisation?
GCM is currently serving the lord in different parts of Andhra Pradesh. At present we are ministering in Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh.
Orphan Homes This was started at Bhongir of Nalgonda district of AP with a vision of helping the orphans who are in millions in India. We want to help at least a few children out of them. We have 30 children in the home and need to have support. This home is managed on faith. We are planning to have 100 children in the home and to help them in providing food, shelter and education.
Sewing Centres GCM had been able to give 18 gypsy ladies the needed training and gifted them with sewing machines last year and we are planning to have more gypsy ladies for this year and needed some more sewing machines.
Education Educating the children and adults is another wing of GCM. We have adult education projects in some parts of Telangana and we are also supporting the children of the orphanage for their education in another school. There are plans of establishing a school in 6-acre land, which is owned by Great Commission Ministries.
Widows Care As we go into the villages to preach the gospel, we saw many widows who are begging on the streets, some of them are not able to have even one time meals. When we saw them, we remembered the Lord saying, the villages are scattered around with sheep without a shepherd. The Lord means to say, a holistic way of reaching the widows with the gospel. Such widows are without help and care in the villages. Now we are able to look after them with partial help by giving clothes, food and free medicines. In the near future we have plans to make shelter for them. Already we have place to build it. We are praying to the Lord to get the required resources from agencies and churches to continue the ministry. We appreciate your prayers. If you are interested to assist this ministry please let us know, we will be glad to contact you. Altogether let us care the widows and bless them with the salvation from Lord Jesus Christ.
Bible School The fruits of the evangelism are many in numbers. Among them there are many young men and women who are interested in doing His ministry, they are to be trained. We have planned out for a Bible School where they will be trained. We have trained few young men for His ministry and sent them to their own people.
In the month of January 2004 another new batch was started with 8 students.Thanking God for the accomodation facilities. With these 8 students we are having weekend ministry from friday to sunday. Many people came to the Lord.
